This weekend saw one of the #thriveteam favourite races on the calander, ETC Sprint triathlon weekend. Conditions were awesome for some hot action out on the race course both at Saturday sprint triathlon and Sunday O/W swim events. The podium and PB's were coming in thick and fast with awesome results to top off a great weekend. Maddy Clarke was 1st home as well as an impressive 2nd F overall. Blake Taverna was our 1st M home with a very impressive run split for some-one just out there looking cool and casual. The McHugh stakes were up for grabs again with Wendy taking home 1 st place in 50-54 and a 25 sec win over Scott. Fiona picked up a nice little 3rd place as well as the dream team which include Bec and Luke.
On Sunday at the Wharf to winery 3000m swim race echuca did it again with a record number of entrants taking on the race. Bec proved swim training is over rated picking up 2nd F overall with Wendy not far behind in 4th. Luke was our 1st M home and 7 th overall. All in all it was an absolute cracking weekend. Well done to all the ETC for putting on such a great event and the #thriveteam will be back bigger and better next year.
