Bike Strength Stage 1 Plan Big Gear
This is a great strength progression for those looking for a big change in power output. Its focused slowly on making you stronger. It's an awesome progression to be completed early in your base period to develop max strength foundation. This is best done on a trainer but also can be done on a hill to keep output high and cadence low. If time-restricted, you can do the same plan but reduce the sets by 1. Its all about the max effort so don't waste your energy when you should be recovering between sets. Hope you enjoy the power pain and we see some Thriving results in 6 weeks time.

Strength High Cadence and Leg Speed Plan
In this plan, we focus on cadence and leg speed. The aim is to get your leg's fitness up and build strength at high power outputs. Sustaining power at a high cadence for most people is hard due to relying on strength rather than leg fitness. Once you increase leg fitness and can push power at high cadence it's because of an efficient pedaling technique rather than brute force. The advantage of this is once you go back to normal cadence the efficiency gained from producing 360-degree pedal power will equate to long-lasting sustained power at an easier effort. If you have been mashing big gears this Plan is for you. Generally, most people are weak at high cadence so steer clear from it. The reality is if your week at it really it's your weakness and it's what you need to work on.
